Best Buy Children’s Foundation is awarding up 1,200 scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating high school students in grades 9-12 who will be attending a college, university or vocational school in the US or Puerto Rico in the fall immediately following their high school graduation.
ü Applicants must:
o Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
o Demonstrate commitment to and involvement in community volunteer service or work experience
o Have never been selected as a Best Buy @15 recipient
ü Awards are one-time only and are not renewable. Award payment will be made upon recipients’ graduation from high school and submission of eligible enrollment in an accredited post-secondary institution.
ü Deadline is February 16, 2011
